Hector Aleman, LCSW
Hector Aleman is originally from San Antonio, Texas, where he began his collegiate studies. He transferred to then Southern Oregon State College and graduated in 1984 with a degree in general studies, social sciences. After raising two children, he followed his dream and acquired a master’s degree in social work from Portland State University. He is a licensed clinical social worker.
Mr. Aleman has specialized in working with youth since his graduation from PSU. Prior to joining La Clinica's school-based health centers program in August 2007, he worked for the Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare, and Rogue Valley Youthbuild. In both positions he worked directly with families in case management and counseling.
Mr. Aleman enjoys backpacking, canoeing, skiing, and the performing and visual arts.
