Approximately 20 new patients a day call La Clinica for their first appointment. Our ability to accommodate new patients will be exceeded by the end of 2007. If we do not expand services soon, our uninsured and low-income neighbors will go without health care or will turn to hospital emergency departments.

La Clinica’s mission to provide quality affordable health care compels us to act now. We have purchased a 10,000 square-foot facility at 4940 Hamrick Road in Central Point. When renovated, this clinic will serve 3,500 new patients within the first two years. It will fill the urgent need for affordable and quality health care by providing medical, dental, and social services, chronic disease case management, and outreach services to the uninsured and other underserved populations. The cost for this project: $3.5 million.
