Claudia Chaves, MS
Claudia Chaves has been a psychotherapist in the Rogue Valley for 15 years, working mostly with children and families, but also with adults and often with the Hispanic community.
She practices at La Clinica’s school-based health center at Jackson Elementary School.
She has a master’s degree in counseling from California State University and is licensed as a marriage and family therapist in California. She has taught psychology at Rogue Community College part time for several years.
She was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived in Israel for a decade and a half. Her grown daughter and young grandson live in California. She likes to be out in nature: hiking, gardening, contemplating, and rafting easy stretches of the region’s beautiful rivers. She also enjoys family, friends and reading funny mysteries. She worked in orchards for many years, and loves anything to do with fruit trees, now in a small scale and organically.
